Unless it’s a fancy dress party or you are like one of those sad middle aged people trying to relive your youth, there is no way you would go to a party in your school uniform! you need to dress yourself in the right gear to make the most of the moment. The question is what are you clothed with?
When you consider the words seed and building, you would notice that they all require activity to maximise their potentials. Seeds must be planted. Buildings must be built. You don’t just veg out on the sofa and wait for changes to happen, you have responsibilities in becoming the best you could be. First you’ve got to change your habits. Your character is made up of the sum of your daily habits. Listen: everything connected with that old way of life has to go. It’s rotten through and through. Get rid of it. To make it in life, change your thinking.
Be transformed by the renewing of your mind. The Greek word for transformed, metamorphosis is used today to describe the amazing change a caterpillar goes through in becoming a butterfly and is a superb picture of what happens to us when we change our thought pattern. Caterpillars are limited, they don’t fly! Character, not comfort, should be first priority in your life. If you are ever going to fly, you must think and act fly!
