Do you really know what you were made for? You’ve discovered something you have real passion for? Your destiny? Well, good, but that’s only the start! Don’t you ever be fooled that because you know what you want to do in life, it’ll automatically happen.

In order to achieve anything, you must be determined and maintain your confidence in God! King David wrote, My times are in Your hands. What times? Times when you feel like quitting. Times of no return. Times when you wonder, did God really want me to do this? Times when you ask, will I ever get through this? Times when God may have to challenge your idea, even, though it looks great to you. Times when you’ll have to rise up above your circumstances and say, I can do everything through Him! Times when you are the only one convinced it’s worth making the effort. Times when those you’ve poured most efforts into supporting and developing would be the first to stab you in the back

Always be ready to encourage yourself! Don’t wait for others to come along and encourage you. Learn to do it for yourself! There was a time everyone turned against King David, what did he do? he turned himself to God and found in God the confidence he needed for the situation. So when it looks hopeless, see yourself as a winner, hold your head high, whisper to yourself, yes, I can do all things through Christ that strengthens me.
