Idea rules the world and one idea can change everything! Sir James Dyson is a British industrial designer and founder of the Dyson company. He is best known as the inventor of the Dual Cyclone bagless vacuum cleaner. But what you may not know was that he had to be partly supported by his wife’s salary as an art teacher for the 5 years it took to invent the bagless vacuum cleaner. Even then, no manufacturer or distributor would handle his product in the UK so Dyson launched it in Japan through catalogue sales, it would take him a further 10 years before a breakthrough in the UK market. His net worth in 2016 was said to be £5 billion. Can you imagine how those manufacturers and distributors that refused to associate with his product feel now?
Good ideas are great. People’s problem has never been lack of ideas; it’s finding the courage to leave the comfort zone and turn those ideas into action that is always the
